RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (August 4, 2015) – On Saturday, October 3, 2015, King of the Cage returns to Gold Country Casino & Hotel in Orville, California for another spectacular evening of MMA action.
The main event, in the Heavyweight Division, will feature Carl “Badwater” Seumanutafa (9-5) from San Francisco, California (Team Skrap Pack / El Nino Training Center) doing battle against DJ “Da Protégé” Linderman (18-9) from Yreka, California (Dosomthin Athletics). Seumanutafa is one of the top ranked Heavyweights. Linderman has won his last two fights.
The co-main event, in the Lightweight Division will feature Rocky “Rock Monster” Johnson (20-15) from Denver, Colorado (Team MMA Machine / Child’s Play MMA) against Josh Emmett from Sacramento, California (Team Alpha Male), who is undefeated in his first seven professional fights. Johnson is one of the top ranked lightweights.
One of the featured fights on the card in the Women’s 115 lb. Division will be feature Stephanie “Macaquinha” Frausto from Dublin, California (CSA Gym) going head to head against Maria “The Real Deal” Andaverde from Redding, California (Golden State Sports Club).
This event will be broadcast in over 50 million U.S. households on MAVTV (214 Direct TV, 248 Dish Network). Check your local cable provider for cable station in your area.
Other fighters scheduled to appear on the card include Tyler Diamond, Tramain Smith, Clinton Fouse, Cesar Gonzalez, Kole Dixon, Nick Gifford, Connor Miller, Steven Sainsbury, Ryan Hamilton, Ron Tilson, Valerie Wong, Kyle Gotham and more.
