RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (October 9, 2015) – King of the Cage will return to Black Bear Casino Resort in Carlton, Minnesota for the fourth time in 2015, with another action-packed, world-class Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) mega-event, headlined by a women’s World Title Championship bout in the women’s flyweight division (135 pounds) between Shanna Young and Christina Jobe on Saturday, November 21, 2015.
The main event for the vacant women’s 135 lb. flyweight title, will feature Shanna Young (2-0) from Knoxville, Tennessee (Knoxville MMA Academy) facing off against Christina Jobe (2-0), from Minneapolis, Minnesota (The Academy). Both fighters have won their first two professional fights and are top ranked.
In the co-main event, in the women’s 125 lb. Junior Flyweight Division, Heather “Handguns” Bassett from Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin (Unified Martial Arts) will take on Taylor Turner from Knoxville, Tennessee (Knoxville MMA Academy).
Other fighters scheduled to appear on the card include Kathryn Bassignana, Julie Isham, Jesse Rogge, Luke Salzer, Jake Wyman, Steve Moore, Hannah Singer, Tiffany Masters, Chase Rueger, Josh Hautajarvi, Roberto Ribeiro, Shamus O’Grady, Alysa Ciepluch, Katie Koenig, Justin Womack, JD Ballew, John Melina, Tom Krenzel, Brandon Basina, Gary Konkol, Nick Edling, Troy Roggenbuck, Nick Rahn, Michael Jokondo, Tameka Zwilling and more.
