RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (February 20, 2015) – King of the Cage, one of the world’s premier organizations for Mixed Martial Arts, is proud to announce that General Tire has been named the official presenting sponsor for King of the Cage events in 2015. General Tire now becomes the third presenting sponsor for KOTC following Rockstar from 2005-2008 and Lucas Oil from 2010-2014.
“We are pleased to welcome General Tire to our family of sponsors,” stated Terry Trebilcock, CEO and Founder of King of the Cage. “Their products are amongst the most globally recognized, and having General Tire as a partner fits perfectly with the MMA fan base. We couldn’t be more excited to have them on board. General Tire is an iconic brand that would bring credibility to any organization. Our company shares a similar philosophy that Anywhere is Possible.”
“To align with a growing sport like MMA, and specifically King of the Cage, is a huge opportunity for General Tire,” said Travis Roffler, director of marketing for General Tire. “This gives us exposure for the brand to a completely new audience of enthusiasts who are loyal to the brands that support the sport of MMA. The television package on MAVTV and on-site activation and branding allow us to communicate our message of 100 Years of Adventure to these fans. This is just one more step forward to grow the brand in the US and beyond. We’re looking forward to a great partnership together.”
“King of the Cage Presented by General Tire” will feature many of the most exciting athletes in the world in exciting action-filled events throughout the year. The General Tire sponsorship will be displayed on 40+ television broadcasts on MAVTV and on-site at venues in 2015.
