RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA. (July 27, 2018) – King of the Cage, the leader in casino mixed martial arts entertainment, returns to Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City, Oregon on Saturday, September 8, 2018 with a nationally broadcast event headlined by a Lightweight showdown between Brad McColly against Fernando Padilla. The co-main events will feature in the Featherweight Division, Carson Frei vs. Aaron Wetherspoon and Dennis Linton vs. Blake Bilder. The featured fight on the card will be Thomas Patrick vs. Nick Angeloni.
Main Event – Lightweight (155 lbs.)
Brad McColly (6-3), Tillamook, Oregon vs. Fernando Padilla (10-3), Juarez, Mexico (Team Oyama). McColly has won his last three fights impressively. Padilla is one of the top ranked fighters in the Lightweight division.
Co-Main Event – Featherweight (145 lbs.)
Carson Frei (6-3), Portland, Oregon (Gracie Barra Portland) vs. Aaron “Slam” Wetherspoon (9-5), Norco, California (C-Quence BJJ). Frei has six wins and is also top ranked. Wetherspoon is the former KOTC Welterweight Champion.
Co-Main Event – Featherweight (145 lbs.)
Dennis “Denny” Linton (3-3), Grand Ronde, Oregon (Gracie Barra Portland) vs. Blake Bilder (2-0), St. Paul, Minnesota (Team Oyama). Linton has won his last two fights. Bilder is undeafeated in both is professional and amateur career.
Featured Event – Lightweight (155 lbs.)
Thomas Patrick (2-1), Portland, Oregon, Gracie Barra Portland) vs. Nick “The Italian Stallion” Angeloni (3-0), Norco, California (C-Quence BJJ).
