RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (March 27, 2014) On Thursday, June 4, 2015 King of the Cage returns to the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel in Worley, Idaho with a impressive night of exciting MMA fights.
The main event will be for the World Light Heavyweight Title. Local favorite Trevor Prangley, (American Kickboxing Academy) who is the reigning champion, is back in action, and will put his title on the line against DJ Linderman, from Eureka, California (Dosomthin Athletics). Prangley has defended his title six straight times. Linderman feels that this title shot has been a long time coming and that he has been overlooked as a title contender.
The co-main event in the 115 lb. Strawweight Division will feature Glena “Heartless” Avila, from Columbia River Gorge, Oregon (Rose City Fight Club) doing battle against Jenny Liou Shriver from Lewiston, Idaho (Moscow Jiu Jitsu Club). Both fighters are eager to gain a shot at the Strawweight Belt.
Another featured bout in the 135 lbs. Featherweight Division will be Daniel “Agent Orange” Swain from Spokane, Washington (American Kickboxing Academy), against Joaquin Calderon, who has won his last three fights.
This event will be broadcast in over 50 million U.S. households on MAVTV (214 Direct TV, 248 Dish Network). Check your local cable provider for cable station in your area.
Other fighters appearing on the card will be Jacob Harkness, Travis Smith, Mark Coates, Cameron Johnson, Austin Arnette, Tracy O’Brien, Gillian Noll, Corey Bussey, Justin Rodriguez, Jean-Paul Hegbloom, Corey Wells, Tayley Pecha, Curley Marie Pinkerton and more.
