RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (January 6 , 2015) On Saturday, January 24, 2015, King of the Cage, one of the world’s premier organizations for Mixed Martial Arts, brings an exciting MMA event to the Socorro Entertainment Center in Socorro, Texas, located just 15 minutes from El Paso.
The main event in the 170 lb. Division Title will feature El Paso’s own Oscar de la Parra against Oliver Parker from Blanding, Utah.
In the co- main event in the 135 lb. Division will feature Cristobal “Quito” Chavez, who is making his pro debut and was undefeated in his amateur career doing battle against Baron Vohn Muller from Wyoming. Chavez has fought all of his amateur fights under the KOTC banner.
Other professional fighters appearing on the card include Jesus Urbina, Nathaniel “Game Dog” Baker, Joseph David Veloz, Jordan Hernandez and Federico Betancourt.
Standout local amateur fighters will include undefeated Andy Varela, Alejandro Diaz and Victor “the Bullet” Trujillo.
This event will be broadcast in over 50 million U.S. households on MAVTV (214 Direct TV, 248 Dish Network). Check your local cable provider for cable station in your area.
