King of the Cage Returns to Chinook Winds Casino Resort on February 2 for “HEADHUNTER”

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA. (January 3, 2019) – King of the Cage, the leader in casino mixed martial arts entertainment, returns to Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City, Oregon on Saturday, February 2, 2019 with a nationally broadcast event headlined by a showdown in the Catchweight division between Daniel Hernandez against Tyson Jeffries. The co-main events will feature Zach Bunnell vs. Eric McConico in a Welterweight battle and Flyweights Rick James vs. Chris San Jose. The featured fight on the card will be Brandon Waltz vs. Donnie Johnson.

Main Event – Catchweight (180 lbs.)
Daniel “El Leon” Hernandez, Monrovia, California (The Vault) vs. Tyson “The Anti-Hero” Jeffries, Portland, Oregon (Gracie Barra Portland). Hernandez is the former KOTC Middleweight World Champion and has twenty wins in his professional career. Jeffries, who has 14 wins in his professional career, fought for the title in his last fight and is top ranked.

Co-Main Event – Welterweight (170 lbs.)
Eric McConico (3-0), Portland, Oregon (Gracie Barra Portland) vs. Zach Bunnell (1-0), Reno, Nevada (Charles Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy). McConico is undefeated and top ranked. Bunnell won his first professional fight, after an undefeated amateur career.

Co-Main Event – Flyweight (135 lbs.)
Chris San Jose, Oregon (Art of War MMA) vs. Rick “The Reaper” James, San Bernardino, California (C-Quence). San Jose who has an impressive 5-1 record, is top ranked. James has won six professional bouts.

Brandon Waltz (1-1), Paradise, California, (Team Alpha Male) vs. Donnie Johnson (2-1), Portland, Oregon (Gracie Barra Portland).
