King of the Cage Returns to the Gold Country Casino & Hotel on October 7 for “LAST STAND”

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA. (August 31, 2017) – King of the Cage returns to Gold Country Casino & Hotel in Orville, California on Saturday, October 7, 2017 with a nationally broadcast event headlined by a Heavyweight showdown between Josh Appelt vs. Mike Cook and featuring some of the sport’s top competitors.

Main Event – Heavyweight
Josh “The Juggernaut” Appelt, Yuba City, California (Team Alpha Male) vs. Mike “The Animal” Cook, Tulare, California (Independent). Both fighters are top ranked. Appelt, 14-6, won his last two bouts with impressive first round KO’s. Cook has 13 wins in his professional career.

Co-Main Event – Welterweight 170 lbs.
Justin “The Raw Deal” Baseman, Susanville, California (Independent) vs. Aaron “Shaka” Hedrick, Paradise, California (Independent). Both fighters are seasoned professionals and top ranked. Baseman has won 19 fights and Hedrick has won 9.
