King of the Cage Returns to The Meadows Casino Resort on July 23 for “DESTRUCTIVE INTENT”

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (May 31, 2016) – King of the Cage, the leader in casino mixed martial arts entertainment, returns to The Meadows Casino in Washington, Pennsylvania with another world-class mega-event headlined by a Bantamweight title fight between current champion Jordan Griffin and Juan Archuleta and also featuring some of the sport’s most ferocious competitors on Saturday, July 23, 2016.

In the main event, King of the Cage World Bantamweight Champion Jordan “The Psychonamechanger” Griffin (11-4) from Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Roufusport MMA) will defend his belt against Juan “The Spaniard” Archuleta (8-1) from Hesperia, California (Cobra Kai MMA). This will be the third straight title defense for Griffin, who has won each fight in impressive fashion. Archuleta, who has only lost once during his professional career, has won his last five fights.

The co-main event in the 145 lb. Bantamweight Division will feature MMA legend Charles “Krazy Horse” Bennett from Perry, Florida (Sweatshop MMA) battling Francis “Mad Dog” Healy from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (The Mat Factory). Bennett, who just recently made his long-awaited comeback in the cage, is known for his in-cage persona and his fighting skills. During his career, Bennett has defeated MMA veterans, such as Yoshiro Maeda and KJ Noons. Bennett’s fight game revolves around unrivaled power at any weight class and his antics inside the cage. Pittsburgh’s own Healy has won his last two bouts.

This event will be broadcast in over 50 million U.S. households on MAVTV (214 DIRECTV, 810 Verizon FiOS). Check your local cable provider for cable station in your area.
