RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA. (February 20, 2018) – King of the Cage returns to WinnaVegas Casino Resort in Sloan, Iowa on Saturday, April 21, 2018 with a nationally broadcast event headlined by a Flyweight fight featuring Drako Rodriguez vs. Elliot Conn. One of the co-main events will be a Welterweight battle between Kyle Angerman vs. Sean Huffman. The other co-main event in the Women’s Atomweight division will feature Shawna Ormsby vs. Kelly Vilarino.
Main Event – Flyweight (135 lbs.)
Drako “the Great Drakolini” Rodriguez (2-0) from Sioux City, Iowa (One Combat Academy) vs. Elliot Conn (1-0) from Birmingham, Alabama (Independent). Both professional wins for Rodriguez have come in the first-round, after also having an undefeated amateur career. Rodriguez is also one of the 2016 KOTC World Amateur Championship professional contract winners. Conn is top ranked and won his professional debut bout with an impressive first-round knockout.
Co-Main Event – Welterweight (170 lbs.)
Kyle “the Dude” Angerman (4-1) from Des Moines, Iowa (Porcelli’s MMA) vs. Sean “The Mad Puggle” Huffman from Bettendorf, Iowa (MMAG). Angerman is top ranked and is looking to avenge his only loss in his last bout. Huffman is a veteran fighter with 22 wins.
Co-Main Event – Women’s Atomweight (105 lbs.)
Shawna “Bam Bam” Ormsby from Orlando, Florida (UFC Gym Winter Springs) vs. Kelly “Submachine Gun” Vilarino from Ashland, Oregon (Ashland Jiu Jitsu Academy).
